Our Stunning Estate

The Villa was built in the late 1800s by the Scottish Barons of Mildmay, it is located at the northern end of the Bay of Sirens. This area - recognised and appreciated for its charming landscape - enchanted this noble family who established their holiday home here. Lots of famous people have found rest in these rooms: Maria Louise, the Duchess of Parma, Winston Churchill and Prince Charles of England.
In the 1950s, Sir Mario Caratti bought the villa and it has been named after him ever since. Renovation work began in the 1990s, which allowed the addition of an attic floor and a lift; in 2011 the current owner, undertook an important renovation, giving Villa Caratti its distinguishing modern character thanks to its large outdoor park, basement wellness area and outdoor infinity pool.
